Launch “Blue Breath” by Ludovic Philippon

With his new work “Blue Breath“, French painter Ludovic Philippon is the latest artist to join our team of artists.

“Blue Breath“ reflects the tensions between form and counter-form, colour and pictorial space, surface and contour that characterise Philippon‘s oeuvre. The abstract, two-dimensional composition thrives on contrasts that convey a sense of spatial depth. By translating his painterly language into the medium of rug, the work takes on a new tactile quality. Philippon‘s designs are meticulously hand-knotted in India from merino wool, making each piece unique and combining painting and craftsmanship.

“Blue Breath“ is limited to 22 pieces. The art rugs are available in 155 x 206 cm, 200 x 265 cm and made to measure.
