Blue Breath

by Ludovic Philippon

The tensions between form and counter-form, colour and pictorial space, surface and contour are central to Philippon’s practice. This work translates those investigations into textile, transforming a two-dimensional composition into a surface with physical depth. Through the hand-knotted technique, colour fields and contours gain a tactile quality that extends the original painterly language.
