Surface and relief carry the image, with subtle variations creating depth across the restrained palette. Translated into textile, the painterly language of the original composition becomes a tactile experience, transforming texture from something seen into something that can also be felt. This piece introduces a new dimension of Culot’s practice through the medium of textile.
