Rhizomes 3 black & white

by Charlotte Culot

Organic forms and abstract structures converge in this monochrome composition, where varying textures create depth across the surface. Varying loop heights create a tactile terrain that recalls the intricacies of a world map and the vast expanse of the Milky Way, references that guided the artist’s interpretation. The contrast between black and white accentuates the shifting surface, creating depth through the interplay of line, texture and form.
