Exploring scale and materiality, this work takes on the presence of a mural when presented vertically. Soft beige and grey tones create a restrained field, while the silk surface reflects light across its woven structure, revealing subtle variations in tone and texture. Through its interplay of sheen, surface and proportion, the piece exists equally as a textile object and a wall-based artwork.
